The MMORPG that released on March 30, 2007, in Japan and December 31, 2008, is shutting down in a few months in Japan. Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine has changed hands in the past few years with different companies, and the reasoning for termination is that “it has become difficult to continue providing a satisfying, ongoing experience for the players.” The English version of the title was terminated on February 28, 2014, and the Japanese version will cease on May 24, 2016.
The title’s story is set between Shin Megami Tensei and Shin Megami Tensei II, with players fighting demons in typical SMT fashion amongst a ruined Tokyo.

I had never heard of this game, despite my love for the Shin Megami Tensei franchise, especially the Persona series.
