Akira Tago, puzzle designer of the Professor Layton series, has died

Akira Tago, the puzzle designer of many of the puzzles within the Professor Layton series has passed away from interstitial pneumonia on March 6, 2016. Mr. Tago was 90 years old.


Akira Tago also published many puzzle books dating back to 1966, of which he has hold an accumulated twelve million copies. The Professor Layton series has sold over fifteen million units.

I loved the Professor Layton series, and my thoughts and prayers are with those near to him. Have you had the chance to enjoy some of the Professor Layton puzzles?
