Cross-network Play Possible on Rocket League

Microsoft has made it possible for the Xbox and PC (with Windows 10)  players to be able to enjoy cross-network play, and now the invitation is open for Sony to join the fun. Chris Charla, Director of ID@Xbox, announced that, if Sony desires, developers now have the ability to make their games cross-platform across the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC’s with Windows 10. Rocket League will be one of the first titles to have this feature accessible, should Sony choose to participate.

Developers have the option to not allow cross-platform play, but this is a tremendous opportunity for developers who would enjoy a congregation of their user-base, especially if it’s small. This is also tremendous news for gamers to play with friends on different systems.
