Tacoma Delayed to Spring 2017

Fullbright, the studio responsible for the development of the space-based adventure game, has announced the delay via an email newsletter. The studio states they had planned to release Tacoma in “mid-to-late 2016,” and the new date was made to reflect a six month gap of extra time for the title.

Fullbright noted that, after last summer’s playtest showcase to developers, the team looked at the feedback provided and decided to reevaluate some core aspects of the title. But feedback from a newer build that had redefined elements indicated that Fullbright had made “the right decision,” so extra time filling out these elements caused Tacoma‘s delay. Fullbright plans to showcase the “alterations to the core game” at a public event this summer.

Tacoma is expected to release on Xbox One, PC, Mac, and Linux.
