PlayStation VR Announced for $400; Here’s What Comes in the Box

PlayStation VR, Sony’s virtual  reality headset, was announced at GDC as costing $400 and releasing for retail in October 2016. Although you will not a get PlayStation Camera (a device you will also need for the device), this is what you will get when you purchase the product.

Taken from GamesRadar:

  • A user manual
  • A pair of earbuds
  • Connection cables for the devices below
  • A processing box for extra power and to display video onto a connected television
  • “A PlayStation VR headset, which features a 5.7 inch OLED screen providing 1920×1080 resolution (that’s 960×1080 per eye), a 120Hz refresh rate, approximately 100 degree field of view, and nine LEDs to give it 360-degree tracking. The headset also supports 3D audio, with a headset jack and mic input.”
