During a Q&A at Microsoft’s //Build/ Conference, Phil Spencer answered a question on if Halo 5 would receive the same PC treatment as more recent releases by Microsoft. On response to the question, Spencer noted that some games are developed with PC in mind as well as console, such as Forza 6 and Rise of the Tomb Raider. Yet some games are not, such as Halo 5, and he insinuated that it would be wrong for the company to look back on and spend times with games not designed in this manner.
“In terms of Halo FPS on PC, I think there’s a ton of opportunity for us right now, but I don’t want to get into a world where we’re looking back, like at Halo 5. It doesn’t mean there’s nothing there that could ever end up on PC, but I’d much rather look forward with what our plans are,” Phil Spencer replied.
